Wife and I have been on a diet for a year. We wanted to incorporate eggs but not deal with all the fat and cholesterol. So we started buying egg whites in a carton, but we needed an easy way to cook them. We found this little egg cooker on Amazon and it works like a charm. We put anywhere from 3-6 tablespoons of egg whites in and cook for 30 sec and stir then another 30-40 sec and they come out perfect. Easy to clean hit it with a little non stick spray and you're good to go. I've since bought a second one so we don't have to share.I have been using Sistema products ever since seeing them demonstrated on the shopping channel years ago. I don't cook for fun and just want easy meals that taste wonderful and are super easy to clean up afterwards. There are many favorites but my newest Sistema piece, the EASY EGGS maker, is one of the best. I put two eggs in the cup with a tbs of water (no butter no oil, no milk), add some condiments and cheese and give it a little stir Close the vent and cook for about 30 seconds, then give it a light stir and cook for 40 seconds. THAT'S IT! My food slides right out of the cooker unto the toast or muffin and a soapy sponge will clean it right up. My newest favorite. Love it.This works exactly as advertised and even better I feel! I can make scrambled eggs, two eggs poached, and 30 Seconds for one egg and 60 seconds for two!! I use eggs directly out of the refrigerator versus room temperature and the only difference is when they’re cold the yolk seem to cook through more. Definitely a kitchen keeper!!This red little egg cooker really works, so far I’ve just done scrambled eggs. 2 eggs work, just watch your cook time so it doesn’t blow out. It’s actually easy, less mess of a bowl and pan. Pretty fast and convenient. I also add a little butter to my egg scramble, I like it for the flavor and I’m guessing just like a pan, it helps coat the cooker. The eggs really turn out nice and fluffy and taste great. I didn’t know if it would taste weird cooking in plastic and in the microwave but it works ??I would recommendWe are a family of 3 and hated how annoying it was to get out pots to steam veggies. More heavy items to clean and all that. This veggie steamer seriously makes it so easy and you can pop it in the dishwasher. I’ve used it for broc, cauliflower, and carrots. They come out really nice. I do 4 minutes in the microwave but I’m sure it depends on what microwave you have.I like this a lot, i just wish it was 10-20% bigger. it cant fit a can of campbells soup , which is annoying. otherwise its very niceAnyone who is a pro at cooking eggs would give you a crazy look for wanting this. It is a very quick and easy way to add egg to your bagel/croissant/English muffin. Crack one egg in this bowl & pop it in the microwave for one minute-& done. The eggs are a bit dry but if that’s ok then it is definitely a time saver plus no dishes. My daughter got COVID so I made homemade chicken soup & bought her this. She was so happy & her husband said it cleaned up super easy! After reading both excellent and bad reviews about microwave easy eggs by Sistema. I decided to buy two and test them for performance. On the back of the packaging in small red writing, it states, Note: Microwave times may vary. Look for the red dotted line. I decided to experiment with both time and power rating. My microwave is fixed plate with no rotating class plate. The two best results were:1). Poured a tea spoon of water, then added an egg, open vent on top and cooked for 50 seconds at 800 watts.2). Spray with sunflower oil before add egg, opened vent cap on top and cooked for 50 seconds at 800 watts.I've made some great omelets. ?I've made some very tasty poached eggs sandwiches. ?Easy to clean and helps to keeps the microwave from exploding eggs!?Without adding water the egg want to stick to the surface of the plastic ? after using sunflower oil, it was very easy to remove with no sticking. ?I am not sure if you are ment to use sunflower oil, because, it might affect the chemical structure of the plastic. (I might grow an extra head?) I am going to using a tea spoon of water to help prevent the egg from sticking. It also makes it easier to clean after cooking. It is the best microwave egg poacher I've bought,90% happy with the overall performance compared to other brands.I've not achieve the same results as an egg in a frying pan, however, it is not for frying eggs! It for poached eggs.Haven't used it in the microwave yet, but I often use it with boiling water to make my instant ramen noodles at uni. At first I thought, "How odd. A bowl with a handle. Why?". Now when I lay back in my chair in the canteen with a bowl of cereal or noodles safely held in one hand and not precariously balanced in my palm I wonder no more. Now I can sip my cereal milk with one hand like a true gent instead of using two hands to raise it above my head like a cave man. More than enough capacity to hold two packs of Mama brand instant noodles and all the water required to go with it. Lid is nice and watertight too so no more worrying if my noodle juice or milk is dripping all over the books in my bag.45g of porridge oats, 200ml of milk. Open valve on lid. 2.30 mins in the microwave and 5 minutes of clearing up the mess and most of my breakfast is now blasted into the inside walls of the micro.Sadly this does not work for porridge which is annoying as the advert shows porridge in it.Man on the moon = YesMicrowave porridge without Laurel and Hardy levels of mess = NoDon't bother buying it.No stars this was new in packaging and when opened you can clearly see from the photo that the product has been used with an egg residue left on the inside. Absolutely disgustingIt works for me...I've found that my eggs turn out best if I put about half a centimeter of boiling water in the bottom, crack two large eggs into it, then leave it standing closed (with the vent closed) whilst my bread is toasting. Then whilst I butter my toast I pop it in the microwave (with the vent open) for 30 seconds. The eggs have a cooked white and runny yolk, which is perfect for me.
